Hida Great Limestone Cave, Gifu Prefecture🪨✨

Hida Great Limestone Cave is one of Japan's largest caves. With a cool year-round temperature of around 12°C, it's the perfect summer escape.

✨ Highlights
• A mystical space illuminated in pale blue
• Beautiful stalactites known as the "Ice Palace"
• A unique location, said to be the highest limestone cave in Japan

Also, the adjacent "Ohashi Collection Museum" displays precious ornaments and art from around the world. It was great to combine this with a tour of the limestone cave!

🚗 Access: Approximately 20 minutes by car from Takayama Station. There are buses available, but car is more convenient.
👟 The ground can be a little slippery, so sneakers are recommended.

Recommended as a combination visit with Gero Onsen and sightseeing in Hida. ^_^
