Most are long-established establishments located on Sannomachi Street, with giant sugidama (pine balls) hanging out in front of their shops.

The most popular are Funasaka Sake Brewery and many others, where you can sample any flavor for 100-300 yen per glass, depending on your preference, by exchanging tokens. There's also the Takayama Sakae Brewery where you can sample small glasses. #FunasakaSakeBrewery
