It is said to have been built in 1872 as the home of a salt farmer. It has a large roof made of real tiles and a side wall.
The view of the Takehara Townscape Preservation District from the second floor is wonderful. Many guidebooks say that the view from the second floor of the former Kasai residence should be photographed, so you can enjoy a wonderful view.
