The word "sustainable" is often heard these days, but this hotel has been very interesting for a long time because it advocates "ecotourism resorts" that protect the island's natural environment and create a sustainable tourism system 👀✨

90% of the island is covered in jungle, and Iriomote Island is registered as a World Heritage Site, so you can feel the rich nature even inside the hotel 🕊️

The lounge, located in a corner of the forest, is called "Jungle Kichi" 🌿
The rich greenery and birdsong filled my body, and it had a great detox effect ☺️

Reducing plastic waste As part of their efforts,
there are no bottled drinks in vending machines or bottled water service in the rooms😏
Instead, there is a free water server (soft drinks and hot drinks are also available🥰) in the building, and you can rent bottles🤍

The impactful message and cute wildcat logo made it a favorite during my stay🐈💕

The guest rooms have an atmosphere reminiscent of a tropical resort somewhere overseas, and the large daybeds are the best🥺🫶🏼
Due to the nature of the island, there are many activities that make you sweat and get wet, so the bathrooms with baths like at home were a big plus😄👍🏻

The rich nature and comfort coexisted, making for a wonderful stay🪸
