[Iriomote Island] Spectacular Drive

A privilege unique to rental cars.

I toured Iriomote Island by getting on and off as I pleased.

There are only a few rental car companies on Iriomote Island, so it's best to make a reservation in advance.

I think it's a particularly competitive area during the high season.

On the way, I saw a waterfall, many crabs on the road, turtles, and bats at night.

There are no street lights at night, so it's really dark, so it's best to watch your step when you get out of the car.

It was convenient to bring a flashlight.

I enjoyed looking for various signs warning of animals, and was able to enjoy the great outdoors.

I walked around every day, keeping my eyes peeled, but unfortunately I couldn't encounter an Iriomote wildcat this time either.

But it was a romantic trip to Iriomote Island, thinking that they might be somewhere on the island.
