Phra Phuttha Nawalan Tue, the four-reign Chiang Saen Buddha, Chiang Rai

🙇♀️ This time in Chiang Rai, I had the opportunity to pay homage to Phra Phuttha Nawalan Tue, a sacred Buddha image of Chiang Saen, which is a replica of the original that sank in the Mekong River. It was rebuilt during the reign of King Rama III. It is made of bronze and covered with sapphire. It weighs 69 tons. It is 9.99 meters wide and 15.99 meters high. It sits on a large glass boat. There is a 17.99-meter-high Tung Luang in honor of His Majesty. ✨️✨️

🙏 It is located on the banks of the Mekong River at the Golden Triangle. It is highly revered by the locals and is a part of the history and culture of Chiang Saen.

🚤 You can also rent a boat to see the scenery around the Golden Triangle. The journey takes 20 minutes. The surrounding atmosphere is very shady. The wind is cool and comfortable. There are many shops selling things. ☺️

🙋♀️ For transportation, you can come by private car, bus, van or rent a motorcycle. Then stop by to pay homage to #Phra Phuttha Nawalan Tue at the Golden Triangle. Ready to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Mekong River 🫡

🎯 : Tambon Wiang, Amphoe Chiang Saen, Chiang Rai 57150
⏰️ : Open daily from 06.00-20.00 hrs.
