The station building's painted walls are artworks: JR Uno Station

The station building was designed by Italian painter Estelle Stocker as part of the JR Uno Minato Line Art Project.

The Setouchi Triennale was also held there, so there were art exhibits around the station.

Inside the station, you can find information about the festival and buy tickets, and you can also find the Tamano Tourist Information Center.

Ferries to Naoshima also run from Uno Port, which is within sight, and there were tourists heading to the Setouchi Triennale.

I visited on October 15th and 16th.
