Earthquake Memorial in Tangshan

this is the Earthquake Memorial of Tangshan, China. The Earthquake memorial fronts the Wanda Mall of Tangshan. So when you get there, you are hitting two birds with one stone.

from our place, we took Didi---it is their Grab or Uber version in China. If you hail a taxi, you might find it hard to communicate since mostly cannot speak english unless you have a Chinese friend who will be your tour guide. Without a tour guide, you mostly find it hard to explore the place because of the language barrier.

The earthquake memorial is built to remember the tragedy and victory. That is why in my previous post, they represent themselves as the Phoenix---they rose from the ashes.
