Trail Introduction
The Shakadang Trail is about 4.1 kilometers long from the entrance to Sanjianwu, running along the Shakadang River. The 16-kilometer course of the Shakadang River forms a majestic canyon, clear streams, beautiful rock folds and lush forests. There used to be many Aboriginal settlements along the trail, giving the Shakadang Trail both landscape ecology and cultural beauty. The bed of Shakadang Creek is covered with stones of various sizes, with marble and gneiss being the most common. The azure and fast-flowing creek flows over the creek bed, playing a clear natural melody with the creek stones, while the creek water also polishes the rocks into a smooth and beautiful shape. The folds form abstract murals on the mountain walls on both sides and the rocks in the stream, which are open to people's appreciation and imagination.
