Wengong Mountain is located in the western part of Wuyuan County, just 27 kilometers from the county seat. Its main peak stands at 315 meters above sea level, boasting a forest coverage rate of 99%. Its air quality far exceeds national first-class standards. The mountain is home to numerous valuable tree species, including pine, fir, chestnut, castanopsis, nanmu, and maple. Over 100,000 mu of natural broad-leaved forests blanket the sky, creating a vast expanse. The phytoncides released by these trees, when inhaled, can lower blood pressure and kill pathogens such as tuberculosis, cholera, dysentery, typhoid fever, and diphtheria. Wengong Mountain is an ideal spot for "forest bathing" and is a national 4A-level scenic spot.
