The Panlong Ancient Road lies across the majestic Kunlun Mountains📸💕, with a total length of 36 kilometers, a maximum altitude of 4,200 meters, a drop of 1,000 meters, and more than 600 S-bends from the top of the mountain to the foot of the mountain📸👍🌹.
We went up from Dapanlong and down from Xiaopanlong. The Big Panlong has a large curvature, with sparse bends, like a giant dragon rising into the sky; the Small Panlong is connected in bends, twisting and zigzagging, like a giant dragon coiled, and it is spectacular when viewed from high above. Because of the dense sharp turns and large height differences, both the visual experience and the driving experience are extremely challenging🥰.
There are multiple viewing platforms on the ancient trail, but you need to pay attention to the vehicles going down when you get off the car to take pictures. Due to the high altitude, you also need to be equipped with oxygen cylinders.
