The Golden Grassland of the Pamir: A Golden Scroll on the Plateau

The Golden Grassland, also known as the Aral National Wetland Park on the Xinjiang Pamir Plateau, sits at an altitude of approximately 3,100 meters. In autumn, the vegetation of the marsh meadow turns golden, shimmering under the sunlight—hence the name "Golden Grassland."

The Taxkorgan River meanders through the area, nourishing this vast wetland spanning 100,000 acres.
