[Tbilisi, Georgia] The world's largest Orthodox cathedral⛪️

Located on a hill overlooking the city on the new town side of Tbilisi, the Holy Trinity Cathedral (Sameba Cathedral) is one of the highlights of any Tbilisi visit.

Constructed in 2004, it's still a relatively new cathedral, but it's one of the top five largest Orthodox churches in the world, making it truly impressive. 😲
The majestic structure standing majestically at the end of the road leading from the main entrance is a sight to behold, and for that reason, it's easily visible from the old town side. 👀

While it's not a particularly flashy cathedral, the sacred and solemn atmosphere inside is also beautiful. Just being in a church somehow cleanses the soul. 🙏

The cathedral faces west, so it's best to take exterior photos in the afternoon. 📷
