Visiting the Chronicles of Georgia was one of those random stops that turned out way cooler than I expected. I'd seen a couple photos, but didn't really know what to expect.
When I got there, the view was so great - you can see the whole city on one side and this huge reservoir (they call it the Tbilisi Sea) on the other. The monument itself is these massive stone towers covered in carvings. They look ancient but are actually from like the 1980s. The carvings show old Georgian kings and saints - some are really detailed if you look close.
There were barely any people there. No entrance fee or anything. I walked around the pillars, checking out the carvings, and just enjoyed how quiet it was. Sat for a while and enjoyed some snacks I took with me.
If you're in Tbilisi and want to see something different without crowds, this place is perfect. It's not fancy but that's what makes it special. And that view is just great.
