Sulfur Bath Time in Tbilisi

#summervacay Trying the sulfur baths in Tbilisi was one of those “when in Georgia” experiences, and honestly, I loved it! The Abanotubani district is super cute with its brick domes and old-school vibe, and once you step inside one of the bathhouses, it’s like entering a cozy, steamy cave.
Yes, it smells like eggs (sulfur life), but you kinda get used to it fast. I booked a private room with a hot sulfur pool and a marble slab to chill on, and it was soooo relaxing. I also went full experience and got the scrub + massage combo, definitely intense but totally worth it. My skin felt brand new after.
It’s not a fancy spa vibe, more rustic and authentic, but that’s part of the charm. Afterward, I just sat there, wrapped in a towel, sipping tea, feeling like a literal puddle of calm.
If you're in Tbilisi and need a chill break from sightseeing, this is the move. Just don’t wear jewelry, it can tarnish in the water!
