A Taste of Taiwan in JB: Breakfast Sandwiches at Good Morning

#favouriteitinerary One of our most cherished breakfast spots in JB is Good Morning, nestled in the Spring Labs area along Jalan Ekoflora Utama. Opening at the crack of dawn at 7am and serving until 3pm, this quaint eatery specializes in hearty Taiwanese-style breakfast sandwiches that are the perfect way to kickstart the day. We indulged in the Chicken Egg Toast, a delectable creation featuring succulent chicken breast, crisp lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and a velvety molten egg, all enveloped in a luscious, homemade peanut butter spread. The flavors meld together to form a rich, satisfying bite that’s both comforting and energizing.

Though we didn’t sample the beef noodles or nasi lemak on this occasion, we couldn’t resist the coffin toast, a distinctive dish that transported us back to Taiwan. This rendition, however, featured an aromatic curry sauce, adding a unique twist to the classic. To complement the meal, we enjoyed a refreshing milk tea, its delicate sweetness balancing the richness of the dishes.

While the location might be slightly off the beaten path, the experience is absolutely worth the detour. The area boasts a charming European Portuguese-inspired retail park, with vibrantly colored shophouses and a variety of chic cafes, creating a picturesque backdrop. It’s the ideal spot not only for a fulfilling breakfast but also for a leisurely stroll to enjoy the eclectic and aesthetically pleasing surroundings.
