The Best Beaches In Wales, The Stunning Sands Of Tenby Town.

Tenby is a stunning seaside town in Wales and it is famous for a lot of things, but for me the best part of the town is it’s beaches. The town is surrounded by stunning sandy beaches and they offer the perfect conditions for safe family days out, and they never get too busy! The two main beaches are south beach and north beach along with the smaller castle beach and harbour beach. They are the perfect combination of calm waters, rolling sand and local amenities to keep you going all day.

The north and south beaches are the best for day trips as they offer lots of space, calmer waters and are closer to cafes, toilets and shops. The beaches are always very clean and the water here is a lot calmer than other places on the coast, they also offer a lot of rocky areas on the edges of the beaches which is perfect for rock pooling and crab hunting!

You can rent things like beds, umbrellas and toys but it can be quite expensive - it is better to bring your own or head to the local discount stores for any last minute needs! There are various cafes along the front for refreshments, or take a quick 5 minute walk into town for super markets and cheaper fast food places.

An absolutely stunning day out for the family and a great way to appreciate this gorgeous town and it’s laid back way of life!
