Wat Tham Suea is located on a hill in Tha Muang Chum Subdistrict, Tha Muang District, Kanchanaburi Province, just before entering Kanchanaburi City. It is renowned for its magnificent large golden statue of Luang Por Chin Prathanphon, measuring 9 wa 9 inches tall and 5 wa 3 cubits 9 inches wide. Built in 1973, it is also home to the "Phra Chedi Kesu Kaew Maha Prasat," an octagonal orange pagoda measuring 69 meters tall and 29 meters wide. It boasts a strikingly large and imposing stature and has nine floors. The pagoda offers panoramic views from the windows. Views of the Mae Klong River, mountains, rice fields, and the adjacent Wat Tham Khao Noi Temple.
