Coffee and Crystal: A Non-Beach Person's Paradise

My summer escape at Yantai Tianma Stack Bridge was perfectly timed before the evening crowds arrived. (It's open 24 hours, but I'd recommend a late afternoon visit for the best light!). I’ll admit it freely: I’m not a beach person. The sand below, I discovered, is surprisingly coarse and hot underfoot. It was a texture I didn’t expect, a sharp contrast to the absolute gem before me.
The sea, however, is a revelation—a stunning, crystal-clear azure that stretches to the horizon. The iconic bridge pierces the sky. So, I stayed in my comfortable spot, savoring the rich taste of coffee and the serene view. This is my ideal way to experience the coast: all the beauty, none of the sand. Pure bliss.
