Unexpectedly, there is such a thousand-year-old temple around Tianjin

Dule Temple, just hearing the name makes it sound cool. This temple, one of the three major temples of the Liao Dynasty in China, has been hidden in Jizhou for more than a thousand years. I went there twice last summer, and each time I felt different. Although the temple is not very large, an hour is enough to walk around. However, I still stand in front of the Guanyin Pavilion and watch for a long time. At the same time, I also lament the wisdom of ancient craftsmen on the oldest wooden structure building in China.

The main cultural relics worth visiting in the temple are the Guanyin Pavilion and the small courtyard on the east side. The highlight of the Guanyin Pavilion is the wooden structure building, and there is an inscription of Qianlong's calligraphy in the small courtyard on the east side. In addition to the wooden structure, the eleven-faced Guanyin statue in the Guanyin Pavilion is also very eye-catching. Every time I see her, I think of the statues of the Tang Dynasty in the Mogao Grottoes.

When I went there, it was not the first or fifteenth day of the lunar month, but there were still many people who came here to pray and worship devoutly. It can be seen that Dule Temple is not only a tourist card of Jizhou, but also quite prestigious in the hearts of local people.

☀️Practical TIPS☀️
📍Jizhou has a very unique geographical location, about 107 kilometers from the center of Beijing and about 117 kilometers from the center of Tianjin. If you drive by yourself, it will take about an hour and a half to get there from either side. From Beijing, take the Jingqin Expressway and Jinji Expressway, and from Tianjin, go directly to the Jinji Expressway.

🅿️The parking lot is outside the temple to the west (on the northwest corner of the intersection), the parking lot is quite large, and there is no need to worry about no parking spaces during non-holidays. The parking fee is 2 yuan/hour, and the maximum is 16 yuan per day.

🎫The ticket is not very expensive, usually in the form of a joint ticket, 50 yuan/person, the joint ticket attractions include Dule Temple, White Pagoda Temple, Confucian Temple, and Luban Temple. If you buy a separate ticket for Dule Temple, the cost is 33 yuan/person.

‼️If you want to go to other attractions in the joint ticket, pay special attention to the parking problem of the White Pagoda Temple, because the attraction is in a small alley, and it is very difficult to pass the car, but the parking lot about 20 meters east of the attraction on the left side is very large, so if you want to park the car, it all depends on the driving skills of the first half of the alley.
