Why Tinajin is China’s Paris 🇨🇳❤️🇫🇷

Tianjin you’re so dear to me. I met so many amazing people and places there, I’ll return this year. I promise.

Tianjin has this iconic European-style architecture thanks to its past as a foreign concession city :
• Gothic cathedrals
• Baroque mansions
• French-style avenues

Tianjin is where old meets new:
• 📜 Ancient Culture Street (Gu Wenhua Jie) for vintage feels
• 🌆 Modern skylines, Ferris wheel on a bridge (Tianjin Eye, no joke)

Tianjin’s local eats are criminally underrated:
• Goubuli Baozi (famous juicy buns)
• Jianbing (Chinese crepes — the OG TikTok wrap)
• Mahua (twisted fried dough sticks, perfect snack for train rides)

If you’re already into exploring diff cuisines, this is a whole new playground 🍴👅

Compared to Beijing or Shanghai:
• Accommodation is cheaper
• Food is affordable
• Attractions aren’t flooded with tourists

You can live that main character travel arc without your wallet gasping for air.
