The moment you enter the guesthouse, you’re wrapped in the autumn and winter atmosphere! It’s still that wabi-sabi style courtyard, but the stone walls and wooden beams are draped with caramel-colored vines, sunlight softly filters through the arched windows, falling on rustic pottery and woven rugs. Every snapshot feels like a warm-toned movie scene. On a clear morning, sitting at the room’s doorstep daydreaming, listening to birdsong and watching mist swirl around the mountain’s red leaves, even your breath carries the fresh sweetness of plants—quieter than summer, with an added sense of peace!
This time we stayed in Courtyard No. 1, where the summer infinity pool has been replaced by a heated soaking pool! Built with natural stone, the water temperature is just right—not cold or hot. While soaking, you can look up at the autumn scenery of Jiuhua Peak. The breeze is cool but not chilly, holding a cup of hot tea in your hands, it feels like all the autumn and winter fatigue is melting away. The housekeeper also prepares warm roasted sweet potatoes and longan tea; after soaking, a sip warms you to the core!
The rooms remain so comfortable! The bathtub and large bed room’s two terraces are perfect for autumn and winter. Wrapped in a coat standing there, watching the sunset dye the forest orange, every photo is a mood-filled masterpiece. Facilities are still top-notch, with smart toilets and soft bedding. At night, you can open the electric curtains to watch the stars without feeling cold! If you’re traveling with kids, choose Courtyard No. 2, where the splash pool is also replaced by a small hot spring. Parents can watch from the living room through panoramic windows, super worry-free.
The public areas fully embrace the autumn and winter vibe! The real wood-burning fireplace in the entertainment room blazes warmly. Sitting around it listening to B&O speakers, snacking on nuts and sipping hot mulled wine, it’s perfect for friend gatherings or family team-building. The suspended tea room lets you brew tea, with a chestnut forest outside the glass walls, leaves scattered on the ground—drinking tea while enjoying the view is so cozy! The starry sky lounge can open its dome at night; the stars shine brighter in autumn and winter. Drinking whiskey under the stars is so romantic you’ll want to stomp your feet!
