🌧️Guoqing Temple Autumn Harvest Report: Encountering a Unique Autumn Charm in the Rain
On October 18th, it was cloudy with light rain, and the temperature was around 20 degrees Celsius, just perfect. I arrived at Guoqing Temple and plunged into the romance of this autumn harvest🌾.

Upon entering the temple, I was drawn to a pagoda—Master Juzan's Pagoda🗼. The moment I saw his name, I was surprised, and after looking up his life story, I was even more deeply moved! It turns out he was the only monk at the founding ceremony of the PRC, and also a heroic predecessor who led the resistance against Japan👍. With respect, I saluted the pagoda.

Walking deeper into the temple, there was a gurgling stream in front of the temple gate, and by the stream stood a stele inscribed with "Yixing arrived here, water flows west." The inscription notes tell the story of a Tang Dynasty monk who studied astronomy and calendrical calculations, as if narrating the vicissitudes and mysteries of time📜.

The temple gate faces east, solemn and majestic, with two imposing stone lions🦁 guarding this pure land. The banana trees by the entrance swayed gracefully in the rain, looking absolutely beautiful🌴.

Around nine o'clock, the temple was bustling with activity, and the crowds brought it to life👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. My purpose for coming this time was to see the stunning combination of the rice fields and the Sui Pagoda. Inside the temple, I saw many baskets filled with rice. The rice had been husked but still had its outer bran, emitting a fragrant aroma🌾. An auntie told me that one basket of rice weighed as much as I did, and she and other elderly people could still carry them on their shoulders and by hand. It was truly admirable👏.

🙏Encounter at the Five Hundred Arhat Hall: Mysterious Interactions with Arhats
Stepping into the Five Hundred Arhat Hall, I felt as if I had entered a magical world🧚‍♂️. The arhat statues here are incredibly lifelike, so vivid and expressive, completely different from those I had seen in other temples. Previously, I would just glance through arhat halls, but this time, it felt like every arhat statue was interacting with me🤝. They showed me their various dharma instruments and books, as well as their majestic mounts and adorable pets. It was truly amazing😮!

🍵Teahouse at the Temple Entrance: Free Good Tea Awaits You
Feeling tired from walking, I sat down at a teahouse called "Yi Wei Cha Liao" at the temple entrance🍵. Here, Pu'er and black tea are offered for free. I ordered a cup, sat down to slowly savor it, and enjoyed the tranquility and comfort. After finishing my tea, I even washed my own cup, experiencing the joy of self-sufficiency😄.

The autumn harvest spectacle at Guoqing Temple in Tiantai Mountain is like a beautiful scroll painting, waiting for you to savor it. Come to Tiantai Mountain and join this feast of nature and culture🎉!
