🔸Xiaowu Lake
A stunning lake encountered during the trek, with crystal-clear water reflecting the surrounding snow-capped mountains and blue sky, serene and mysterious. The vast meadows around it are home to wildlife like Tibetan antelopes if you're lucky.
🔸Zhuoxiang Camp
Known as the "Garden of Everest East Base Camp"! Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, with a babbling stream nearby, lush green grass, and blooming flowers. Camping here means waking up to the first rays of sunlight on the mountains and falling asleep under a starry sky—utterly romantic.

An exceptional viewpoint! On clear days, the towering peaks of Everest East Base Camp, Lhotse, and Makalu form perfect reflections on the lake, like a natural landscape painting—a paradise for photography enthusiasts.
✅Travel Tips
🔸Everest East Base Camp is at a high altitude with extreme temperature differences between day and night. Be sure to bring warm down jackets, windbreakers, and other cold-weather gear, along with hats, scarves, and gloves.
🔸With an average altitude of over 4,000 meters, avoid strenuous exercise upon arrival. Refrain from washing your hair or bathing for the first two days. Prepare anti-altitude sickness medication in advance and seek medical attention if discomfort arises.
🔸The plateau has intense UV radiation. Sunscreen, wide-brimmed hats, and sunglasses are essential for full sun protection to prevent sunburn.
🔸Some road sections are challenging. It’s recommended to drive a high-performance 4WD SUV, preferably with prior high-altitude driving experience. Drive cautiously and prioritize safety.
