We went to see art at the Echigo-Tsumari Art Festival, an international art festival held in the Echigo-Tsumari region (the home of the Echigo-Tsumari Art Festival) in Niigata Prefecture, one of the snowiest areas in Japan, where depopulation and aging are progressing.
