Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building Observation Deck

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building's observation deck is located on the 45th floor of the main building in Nishi-Shinjuku, Shinjuku Ward. There are two observation decks, the South Observation Deck (South Tower) and the North Observation Deck (North Tower), both of which are open to the public free of charge. From these observation decks, you can see the cityscape of Tokyo from a high vantage point.

The view from the observation deck has different charms depending on the weather and season. On clear days, you can see Mt. Fuji in the distance, and from dusk to night you can enjoy the beautiful night view of the city lit up.

There is a rest area and a cafe inside the observation deck, so you can relax while enjoying the view.
