March 2018 #TokyoTravel
After looking around Harajuku and Omotesando, I returned to Shinjuku where my accommodation was. However, instead of just going in, I visited my last destination of the day. #TokyoMetropolitanGovernment!! There is an observatory where you can see the Tokyo night view for free.
After going inside and reading the instructions, I took the elevator to the South Observatory. Normally, you can use the South and North Observatories, but the North Observatory was under construction on the day I visited, so I had no choice. By the way, it is open until 11 PM on Mondays, so I happened to visit on a Monday and had a lot of free time.
That's how I arrived at the 45th floor South Observatory of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. It was a bit awkward in height, but it was perfect for enjoying the splendid skyline of the megacity Tokyo. Plus, it was free, so it couldn't have been better.
