Warner Bros. Studio City Tokyo: Recreate the magical world of Harry Potter and the film

Harry Potter fans shouldn't miss a visit to Warner Bros. Studio City Tokyo! It takes about a half-hour subway ride from the city center to Toshimaen Station. From there, it's a five-minute walk to the main entrance. There are numerous exhibits and banners guiding you along the way, so you don't have to worry about getting lost. Your entry time slot is pre-booked when you purchase your ticket, so arriving on time means you won't have to wait too long.

Upon entering, you'll be greeted by a large atrium with a screen showing clips from the films. To the left is a souvenir shop boasting over a thousand items, while to the right is a food court designed after Hogwarts' Great Hall, offering a wide variety of food and beverages.

You can begin your tour by heading to the central ticket gate. Staff will first explain the studio's background and the areas you'll see, then play a video explaining some basic rules. Afterward, you'll have some free time to explore.

Recreated areas from the films include: Hogwarts School (the Great Hall, dormitories, Quidditch pitch, Forbidden Forest, etc.); and Wizarding World (Diagon Alley, the Ministry of Magic, the train station, etc.). In addition to exhibits featuring authentic props from the films, the park also features behind-the-scenes stories and behind-the-scenes footage from the making of the films, making it a very informative and enriching experience.

About halfway through the tour, you'll reach two restaurants: one for dinner and a bar for drinks and snacks. The dinner area is quite crowded, and the wait and line can be long, so I recommend trying the classic Butterbeer at the bar.

Including a visit to the souvenir shop and some photo opportunities at the end, you can spend the better part of a day in the park—definitely worth it for Harry Potter fans!
