Located in Ueno Park in Tokyo, adjacent to Keisei Ueno Station, it has convenient transportation. As a large comprehensive park with rich history and diverse attractions, it is not only a great place for locals to relax and have fun, but also an important place for tourists to learn about Japanese culture and history.
🐒Ueno Zoo - has a long history and houses many animals from all over the world. It used to have giant pandas that were loved by tourists, but unfortunately they retired and returned to their country to recuperate not long ago. Fortunately, there are still giant panda statues outside for taking photos. The place was crowded with tourists, local families, couples, and groups of elementary school students on the day of the visit.
🪷Shinobazu Pond - A scenic lake with lush green lotus leaves and blooming lotus flowers on the lake, which makes people feel relaxed and happy. Visitors can stroll around leisurely and enjoy the natural tranquility.
🗿 Saigo Takamori Statue - A famous Japanese historical figure, honored as the "Last Samurai", his statue is a major symbol of Ueno Park, and there are also materials introducing the exciting history.
🎨Art Museums - including the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum and the Ueno Mori Art Museum, which display a dazzling array of art works. The flow of people is very large, so it is recommended to enter as early as possible.
🍢Hot Food Market - There are many stalls selling snacks with Japanese characteristics. There are shade trees and benches nearby, which is a good resting area.
