The beauty of the cherry blossoms in Sumida Park is speechless 🌸 Tokyo cherry blossom viewing ceiling

#TokyoItinerary

Seeing cherry blossoms in Japan is the top of my travel list, and this time I finally realized my dream of visiting Tokyo’s Sumida Park! It is no exaggeration to say that it is the ceiling for cherry blossom viewing in Tokyo!

🚇Super convenient transportation
It is just a few minutes walk from Asakusa Station. No matter where you are in Tokyo, you can easily get there by subway and don't have to worry about getting lost. After exiting the station, follow the crowd and the romantic atmosphere in the air will lead you all the way to the cherry trees.

🌸Stunning cherry blossom scenery
The park is built along the Sumida River. The kilometer-long Cherry Blossom Avenue is filled with cherry blossom trees. Pink and white petals sway on the branches. When the breeze blows, the petals fall, just like a dreamy cherry blossom rain. The cherry blossoms by the river complement the river water, with a few petals occasionally floating on the river surface. Any shot would look like a scene from a Japanese movie. At night, when the lights come on, the night cherry blossoms take on a different look, mysterious and romantic.

👘Special Experience
Here, you can see many people wearing beautiful kimonos to enjoy the cherry blossoms. I also rented an apartment and strolled among the cherry blossoms, feeling like I had traveled back to ancient Japan. There are also many snack stalls in the park, selling all kinds of delicacies such as grilled senbei, crepes, candied haws, etc. It is very pleasant to enjoy the food while admiring the flowers.

📍Recommended check-in spots
Be sure to go to the Eitai Bridge. Standing on the bridge, you can overlook the entire Sumida Park's cherry blossom scenery. It is beautiful whether you want to take panoramic photos or portraits. There are also sightseeing boats on the river, where you can enjoy the cherry blossoms up close, with a very unique perspective.

Cherry blossoms are in full bloom from the end of March to mid-April every year. Friends who want to go there must plan their trip in advance, otherwise you will have to wait for a year!
