#GetDiscountsWithoutLuck Asakusa Temple or Sensoji Temple #AsakusaTemple SensojiTemple, whichever you call it. This temple is a must-visit on anyone’s list when going to Tokyo, Japan, to pay respects, pray for blessings, and enjoy delicious food around the temple. This time is no different; whenever I go to Tokyo, I make sure to stop by to pray for the chance to visit Japan again.
Personally, I like coming here. I enjoy praying and asking for blessings. I also like going up to the Asakusa Culture Tourist Information Center building at the traffic light intersection near the temple to take high-angle photos of the temple, capture Tokyo Skytree, and take pictures of the iconic large red lantern, the five-story pagoda, and the gates. It’s especially beautiful during cherry blossom season, but I recommend visiting at night as it has a different kind of charm.
For shopping lovers, there is Nakamise Street along the way to the temple, full of delicious food and plenty of souvenirs.
Not far from here is the Sumida River. Around the temple, there are many places to eat and visit.
How to get there:
1. Take the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line subway to Asakusa Station and use Exit 3.
2. Take the Toei Metro Asakusa Line subway to Asakusa Station and use Exit A4.
