Introducing the "Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building No.1 North Observation Deck" located in Shinjuku, Tokyo.
It is a 10-minute walk from Shinjuku Station, 8 minutes from Nishi-Shinjuku Station, and directly connected to Tochomae Station, making access convenient from various lines.
This observation deck is free for everyone to enter, and from 202 meters above ground, you can enjoy views of the Shinjuku Gyoen, National Stadium, Tokyo Opera City, and other buildings and stadiums.
I visited in April this time, and unfortunately, due to pollen and yellow dust, the view was not clear far away, but on clear winter days, if you're lucky, you can see Mount Fuji 🗻✨
Since it was spring break, it was crowded with many foreign tourists, and a queue for admission was formed, so depending on the season, I recommend allowing plenty of time when you visit.
Also, I visited the North Observation Deck this time, but the observation decks are divided into south and north, and their opening hours differ, so please be careful when visiting.
Inside the observation deck, there are cafes and shops, so you can take a break or buy souvenirs, which is a nice point 🫶
The surrounding area is lined with high-rise buildings, but after enjoying shopping and gourmet food, why not relax here and enjoy the view of Tokyo?
