Oku Shibuya "365 Days" Bakery

A conveniently located bakery just a 2-minute walk from Yoyogi-Hachiman Station and Yoyogi-Koen Station 🥐
I had noticed this bakery before when there was a huge line outside, and I was curious but hadn’t been able to go—until now, I finally visited 👟
I had assumed the name "365 Days" meant it’s a bakery you’d want to visit every day, but after some research before going, I learned it also means the staff work 365 days a year.
The owner told the staff a story about whether you’d prefer bread made by a craftsman who separates work and off time or one who thinks about work every day of the year. It made me realize this bread is made by people who are truly professional and live for their work—completely different from my own lifestyle—and that made me even more curious to visit.
Even though it was close to closing time, the shop was packed and filled with bread.
I was surprised because some bakeries have empty display cases by evening, but here they seemed to be constantly restocking to avoid running out.
I bought the popular Croquant Chocolat and, since the owner studied in France, I also got a Flan.
Honestly, the Croquant Chocolat didn’t quite live up to its striking appearance in taste…
The Flan tasted exactly like the ones I had in France.
Since it’s hard to find in Japan, it’s great to be able to buy it easily here 🥹♡
