Old Nakagawa Riverside Park (also known as Koto Old Nakagawa Watercolor Park) is about a 10-15 minute walk from either Kameido Station or Hirai Station on the Sobu Main Line; 🚗🚇🚌
The entire Old Nakagawa Riverside Park reportedly covers more than 60,000 square meters, making it a fairly large riverside park. In spring, from March to April, it’s a great spot for cherry blossom viewing, and in early summer, from June to July, it’s the best place to enjoy hydrangeas! 💯📷😍
The biggest attraction of this park is the opportunity to admire and photograph hydrangeas with the Tokyo Skytree in the same frame, which draws countless local Japanese and tourists from around the world to come and enjoy the flowers, take photos, and check in. Some even specially wear kimonos to take photos with hydrangeas and the Skytree as the background, creating beautiful memories of their trip. 🇯🇵👘💐
