Following the previous post, this one introduces the itinerary for the second day of a 5-night, 6-day trip.
I walked a whopping 40,000 steps that day..
Photo
First, I went to Ikebukuro from 8 a.m. I planned to walk all the way down to Shibuya!
But since I went too early in the morning, there were only office workers, and other shops or places to see weren’t open yetㅠㅠㅋㅋ
It was disappointing, so I passed.. I didn’t think it would be very fun anyway.. hmm

I took this while walking because it felt very Japanese^^

Just before heading over to Shinjuku! This was right after passing Shin-Okubo Korean Town, but since it was still early morning, Korean Town wasn’t very lively either..
Instead, I caught a shot of a train that happened to be coming.

This is Shinjuku~! That round cylindrical building always looks grand no matter when I see it. I think I’ve liked this view for a long time.

Kabukicho and its surroundings. Even though it was broad daylight, I hesitated to go in. The atmosphere is quite intimidating..
When I took a shot with the gorilla statue in the background, doesn’t it somehow look American!?
Photo
I like Shinjuku Station! (Sudden confession)
I really like director Makoto Shinkai’s animations, and Shinjuku Station appears quite often in his works. I like that I can feel that atmosphere exactly.
Photo
I had a bite of Shaka Shaka Chicken at McDonald’s in Shinjuku Station. It was my very first meal..

While walking, you often see crosswalks or train tracks like these, which feel very Japanese, so I took some shots.

If you keep walking straight, you pass Yoyogi and arrive at Harajuku. There are just way too many peopleㅠㅠ
It’s best to avoid it if possible!!

I went into Ichiran Ramen near Harajuku.
Surprisingly, I never stubbornly ate Ichiran Ramen when it was so trendy.. So I went to try it for the first and last time! The taste was just ramen. But the staff greeting me so enthusiastically was a bit overwhelming, so I took a shot.

After walking hard again, I finally arrived at Shibuya.
I walked the famous scramble crossing and Shibuya Center-gai, and everyone was taking out their smartphones to take pictures while walkingㅋㅋ It was funny that everyone was doing that.

On the way home to relieve fatigue, I headed to an onsen! The sunset was beautiful~ I also saw a rainbow, and doesn’t it feel like luck is coming?! (Rhetorical question)
Photo
After finishing at the onsen, I had a beer inside!
This beer is low sugar, low calorie, not very strong, and really low in calories! Definitely give it a try~
The next post is about the third day, and I walked quite a bit again, so look forward to it~^^
