Daiichi Hotel Ryogoku Premium Double Room Skytree View

This is an emotional accommodation with a view of the Skytree right in front of you.😍
Staying at Daiichi Hotel Ryogoku located in Ryogoku, Tokyo.

Departed from Komatsu Airport around 5 PM, arrived at Haneda, and checked in around 7:50 PM. Elementary school students are occupying the lobby. They are students from the countryside.

They seem to be friends participating in a competition. Although it’s a Run of House plan where you get whatever is given, they ask for preferences at check-in. I casually request a non-smoking room with a high-floor Skytree view.

Thankfully, they gladly accommodate the request. Among rooms from the 15th to 24th floors, I am assigned the first double room on the 22nd floor premium floor with the best Skytree view. 🙏

I open the room door and, as usual, take photos first. Then I open the curtains. The Skytree stands right in front of me. Nothing blocks the view. Wowwwww

As the manager said, this is the room where the Skytree is closest and best seen. Lucky, I quickly take photos in 5 minutes and go to meet friends living in Tokyo.

First, we wet our whistles with draft beer at an izakaya, then enjoy Ryogoku’s specialty warehouse hot pot, chicken nanban, and shimesaba with highballs and shochu.

The hotel is a 6-minute walk from JR Ryogoku Station, and just 10 seconds from Toei Ryogoku Station Exit A1. After a fun year-end party with friends, I return to the room and sleep soundly.

On the last day, I pack the schedule into Roppongi, wake up around 7, and slowly join breakfast. The hotel has a great location with a high-floor view and a wonderful Skytree night view, but the breakfast is ordinary.

Returning to the room, I zone out enjoying the Skytree view. Definitely a hotel with an amazing view. The night view is stunning, and the morning is beautiful in its own way. Thank you.
