While walking through Shinjuku, you’ll come across the towering Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building amidst the skyscrapers! Did you know there’s an observatory at the top that you can visit for free?
Take the elevator up to the observatory, and you’ll be amazed by the panoramic view of Tokyo. On clear days, you might even catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji! Plus, you can enjoy the night view for free, making it a highly recommended budget-friendly travel spot ✨
When I visited, there happened to be a corner where you could freely play the piano, and someone was performing soothing classical music. Listening to piano melodies while gazing at the city from above felt like a scene straight out of a movie 💕
Additionally, there was a corner where a staff member explained the landmarks visible from the observatory, making it easy to identify Tokyo’s iconic spots. The tourist-friendly guidance ensures that even first-time visitors can navigate the area with ease.
