A popular hamburger shop in Shibuya, this is a chicken over rice place run by chillmatic.
The exquisite chicken over rice is made by a former French chef.

With about 8 counter seats, you might have to wait during lunchtime.
Since it’s open continuously, a late lunch or early dinner should allow for a smooth meal 🙆

②Muromi Tominaga🦌
A 5-minute walk from Ekoda Station.
A creative cuisine and game meat restaurant run by a female owner alone.
At first glance, it’s course-only, but you can add à la carte dishes. From the second visit onward, à la carte is available from the start.
No soft drinks or sours are served; it’s a place to fully enjoy wine and sake.
The venison tartare uses eggs from a poultry farm in Fukuoka, which they are particular about.
We added a bear soup bowl and wild boar udon.

③Nadai Kameido Gyoza Main Store🥟
The menu is only gyoza! When seated, you are first asked how many plates of gyoza you want, and they are served immediately.
They are small, crispy on the outside, and easy to eat in one bite.
Since they only serve gyoza, it might be perfect for a quick stop during bar hopping.

④Kitade Tacos Shimokitazawa🌮
You can eat tacos made with 100% corn tortillas.
The lunch menu’s 3 tacos set includes pork carnitas, beef suadero, and chicken tinga tacos.
It’s close to the station, so if you dash, you might not get too wet even on rainy days.

⑤Taishu Sakaba Sake to Men Tainotai🐟
An izakaya about 3 minutes from Ikejiri-Ohashi Station toward Shibuya.
The sardine with condiments seaweed roll looks and tastes great 🙆
The finishing ramen is surprisingly authentic for an izakaya!

⑥TACOS 3hermanos Harajuku🌮
A taco shop that went viral on social media.
We got in without waiting. The menu has two types: 5 carnitas and 5 suadero tacos.
You eat authentic tacos with both hands dripping with grease 🤲
Maybe not the best for a first date. LOL

⑦Kaiten Sushi Midori Takaido Branch🍣
A hidden gem branch of the famous Umegaoka Midori Sushi known for lines is in Takaido.
It’s a small shop inside the Oozeki supermarket, with dine-in and takeout options.
If you avoid peak lunch hours, you can enter without waiting.
Takeout maintains the same quality, so it’s recommended.

⑧Taro-ken🍜
A 24-hour ramen shop in Koenji.
The menu is only ramen and curry.
You can enjoy nostalgic ramen and curry.
The flavor is strong, perfect after drinking.
Fukujinzuke pickles on the table are a must with the curry.
It’s a ticket system, and you serve yourself water and get your food.
