Tokyo Odaiba Seaside Park + LEGOLAND Discovery Center

“Odaiba” is familiar to many people and was a place I loved to visit often when I studied in Japan. Because it is near the sea, the scenery is pleasant and very comfortable. Many Japanese dramas have chosen this romantic and charming landmark as their filming location.

“Odaiba” is an artificial island in Tokyo Bay. It has many indoor theme parks, large seaside parks, and a collection of large commercial facilities, including many shopping stores and restaurants. The night view of Odaiba is very enchanting, perfect for couples and families to stroll.

Due to limited time, besides taking photos, we also visited the LEGOLAND Discovery Center in Odaiba. Related attractions include:
🌟 Rainbow Bridge
The spectacular and beautiful cable-stayed Rainbow Bridge is about 800 meters long. At night, the bridge lights twinkle and shine, making it one of Tokyo’s classic nighttime landmarks.

🌟 Fuji TV Headquarters Building
The Fuji TV Headquarters Building is a famous landmark in Odaiba, designed by Japanese architect Kenzo Tange. The building’s unique exterior features a futuristic silver sphere that is the most eye-catching. Although it is a TV station office building, some areas are open for visitors.

🌟 Odaiba Seaside Park
Odaiba Seaside Park features an approximately 800-meter-long artificial beach called “Odaiba Beach,” where you can enjoy water activities. There is also a “Seaside Area” where you can experience fishing by the sea.

🌟 Statue of Liberty
The “Statue of Liberty” standing near Odaiba Seaside Park symbolizes the friendly relationship between Japan and France. As a symbol of Japan-France friendship, it is a must-visit photo spot.

🌟 Odaiba 1-Chome Shopping Street
This shopping street recreates the nostalgic scenery of the 1950s Showa era and is located in “DECKS Tokyo.” You can find many interesting miscellaneous goods, local snacks, and Tokyo souvenirs here, making it perfect for finding unique gifts.

🌟🌟🌟 Tokyo LEGOLAND® Discovery Center 🌟🌟🌟
An indoor amusement park themed around over 3 million LEGO® bricks. What makes it different from the LEGOLAND in Hong Kong is the huge 3D model recreating Tokyo city streets, including landmarks like the Skytree and Tokyo Tower.

🌟 Tokyo Ramen Kokugikan Mai
Tokyo Ramen Kokugikan Mai is located on the 5th floor of “AQUA CITY Odaiba.” Because there were too many people at Western restaurants, we randomly chose one to dine at. It gathers six popular Japanese ramen shops, each separated so customers can eat at their favorite store. That day, we tried three different flavors of ramen, one of which was lobster ramen. Although it looked very appealing, the taste was actually quite average, and the lobster meat was a bit tough, which was a bit disappointing.

Transportation
The Yurikamome Line runs between “Shimbashi Station” and “Toyosu Station.” It is a very unique train, and because my little brother is a railway fan, he was very excited 😆 If you go to Odaiba, you can get off at Odaiba Station or Seaside Park Station 🩷
