A Day Full of Tokyo Vibes, Shibuya and Tokyo Tower

If I had to pick the most memorable day of this Tokyo trip, it would definitely be the day I visited Shibuya and Tokyo Tower.

As soon as I arrived in Shibuya, the first place I headed to was the Shibuya Scramble Crossing. Seeing the huge crowd crossing all at once, a scene I had only seen on TV, unfold right before my eyes was a bit overwhelming but also awe-inspiring. I took photos among the crowd and then went up to the second floor of a nearby Starbucks to overlook the crossing and enjoy a moment of relaxation.

Next, I stopped by the Hachiko Statue. It was smaller than I expected, but seeing so many people lining up to take pictures made me realize it really is a popular tourist spot. I also checked out the Shibuya 109 shopping mall and enjoyed some street food, fully soaking in Shibuya’s lively atmosphere.

As the sun set, I headed to Tokyo Tower. The tower lit up in the twilight had a completely different charm from the daytime and even looked like a European landmark. Going up to the observation deck and looking out over the Tokyo city nightscape made me feel refreshed and allowed me to quietly feel the city’s pulse.

A short but rich day in Tokyo, the lingering feeling still stays in my heart.
