⛪A Serene Sunday Morning at Shinagawa Church of Christ🌿A Deep Breathing Break at Gotenyama Garden

On Sunday morning, wanting a moment away from the hustle and bustle, I went to **Shinagawa Church of Christ**. It’s a small church nestled in a residential area, but the soft light through the stained glass and the quiet, heartfelt worship cleansed my soul.

The service is mainly in Japanese, and there’s a welcoming atmosphere even for first-timers, which made me feel at ease. The pastor’s sermon about “forgiveness in everyday life” left a strong impression.

Afterwards, I walked to nearby Gotenyama Garden. It’s a hidden natural space behind the modern Gotenyama Trust Tower. I took a leisurely stroll along the lush garden paths, around the pond, and the tea house, then rested on a bench with a coffee in hand. Feeling the lingering calm after the service, my mind settled in the peacefulness that you wouldn’t expect in the city.
