[Ueno] Special Exhibition "Edo Ōoku" @ Tokyo National Museum, Heisei Building

Step back in time to the deep inner chambers of Edo Castle, the world of the shogun and his women, the "Ōoku"!
Experience in reality the scenes you saw in dramas, from gorgeous and splendid kimonos and embroidery to ukiyo-e and a recreated set of the Misuzu Corridor.
The audio guide is narrated by "Shogun" Ai Tominaga, and the collaboration with the cat manga "Neko Ōoku" is absolutely adorable.
Additionally, limited collaboration goods with Sanrio characters are available! Hello Kitty and My Melody with Ōoku motifs make perfect souvenirs.

🗓 Exhibition Period: July 19, 2025 – September 21, 2025
⏰ Opening Hours: 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM (until 8:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays)
