🌳Tokyo's Vertical Forest: A Stay at Nihonbashi Hamacho Hotel in Nihonbashi Hamacho ✨
Nihonbashi Hamacho in Chuo Ward, Tokyo, is an area where traditional downtown charm and urban sophistication coexist. This time, I stayed at the "Nihonbashi Hamacho Hotel" near Hamacho Park. From the modern and calm guest rooms, a peaceful cityscape spreads out.
On the first floor, there is a café & restaurant called "SESSION" where you can enjoy live jazz. In the morning, they offer a hearty breakfast for guests, and at noon, locals also visit for lunch and coffee. The open atmosphere makes it perfect for meetings or spending time alone.
The surrounding area is well-equipped with supermarkets, such as "Peacock Store Tornare Nihonbashi Hamacho" and "Maruetsu Petit Higashi Nihonbashi 3-chome," both within walking distance. You won’t have trouble with small shopping or late-night snacks during your stay.
While strolling around the town, I discovered a small shrine with a unique design embedded with pieces of stone and pottery. The vividly green patina on the roof is impressive, and local people quietly prayed there. Nearby, modern monuments and sculptures are scattered, allowing you to feel both art and history, which is unique to Hamacho.
Convenient for both business and sightseeing, you can relax at SESSION in the evening, explore supermarkets and cafés during the day, and spend quiet time at Hamacho Park or the shrines in the late afternoon—enjoying a well-balanced time.
