The Soloist's Familiar Refuge: Kiyosumi Garden Revisited

Under the blazing morning sun, I strolled through the Edo-style Kaiyu garden, holding a free black umbrella provided by the garden (which turned out to be a perfect prop for photos!). The pond reflected century-old pine trees and a red bridge, while the umbrella's edge brushed against the delicate moss garden and waterfall rocks, making me feel like the protagonist of a Japanese drama, wandering alone. The 700 yen ticket was more than just an entry fee—it was a tranquil ritual that transcended time. After escaping the scorching sun, I stepped into the pure white building of Blue Bottle Coffee's Kiyosumi Garden branch.
I ordered a cup of hand-dripped Kenya coffee, and the aroma mingled with the greenery on the wooden table. It turns out that enjoying Tokyo's leisure doesn't have to be expensive. Just one morning is enough to let the serene beauty of a traditional garden and the minimalist charm of modern coffee create a perfect symphony for your senses and taste buds.
