Yoyogi Park

#tokyospots

Yoyogi Park is one of my favorite places in Tokyo to simply breathe and enjoy the city without being overwhelmed by skyscrapers. The atmosphere changes depending on the season—cherry blossoms in spring, lush greenery in summer, golden ginkgo leaves in autumn. It’s a place where locals and travelers alike gather to picnic, cycle, or practice music and dance. I loved stumbling upon groups rehearsing performances and watching families feed pigeons by the fountain. Renting a bike here was one of the best ways to explore the wide open spaces. It truly feels like Tokyo’s “backyard” for relaxation.
