Chidori-ga-fuchi & Kitanomaru Park

#tokyospots

Chidori-ga-fuchi during cherry blossom season is simply unforgettable. The sight of pink petals cascading along the Imperial Palace moat while boats gently glide through the water is one of Tokyo’s most iconic views. Renting a rowboat here felt magical, especially as petals fell like confetti on the water’s surface. After strolling the path, I continued into nearby Kitanomaru Park, which felt quieter and more spacious, with families and joggers enjoying the greenery. Together, these two areas make for a perfect mix of postcard-worthy sakura scenery and everyday Tokyo life. It’s the kind of spot that makes you fall in love with the city.
