Exceptional Stay at The Okura Tokyo

We enjoyed staying at The Okura Tokyo twice during our Japan trip, and both visits were truly exceptional. Nestled in Tokyo's banking district and a quick stroll from multiple subway stations and the American Embassy, the hotel's location is ideal for both business and leisure. Our rooms, located on the 38th and 39th floors, provided stunning views of the Tokyo skyline. Each room came with a luxurious king bed, premium toiletries (including facial creams and soaps), plush pajamas, thick toweling robes, and electric blackout blinds—even in the bathroom! We had access to the club, which I highly recommend. The club lounge offers an incredible breakfast and a lovely evening service with cocktails and champagne from 17:00 to 20:15—perfect for unwinding. Dining options within the hotel are superb. The Orchid on the ground floor serves a diverse international buffet. Yamazato provides refined Japanese cuisine, and the French restaurant was my personal favorite—elegant, delicious, and a must-book in advance for breakfast (table service only). The spa and wellness facilities are top-notch. The 25-meter pool is peaceful and luxurious (note: swim caps are required and provided), and the spa includes a jacuzzi, cold plunge, sauna, steam room, and premium toiletries. There’s also a large gym, although we didn’t have the chance to use it. Special thanks to Kenji-san, the general manager, for his insightful recommendations that helped us explore Tokyo beyond the typical tourist spots. This hotel exemplifies the Okura brand in every detail. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a luxurious and unforgettable stay in Tokyo.
