笹本晃 Laboratory: Moving, Swaying, Blending

📍 Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo (Kiyosumi-Shirakawa)

This is the first large-scale solo exhibition in Japan by Akira Sasamoto, an artist based in New York. The exhibition features suspended objects, tubes, light, and sound in the space. As the body reacts to these elements, the installation 'awakens' and transforms. It's an exhibition, yet a stage; a space, yet a laboratory. Art emerges from the 'relationships' of the present moment.
