Opened in 1995, MOT is one of Japan's leading contemporary art centers. It covers a wide range of genres, from postwar art to fashion, architecture, and design. It not only hosts special exhibitions, but also features a collection of approximately 6,000 artworks and an art library boasting over 280,000 art books. The expansive exhibition space, with its atrium, offers a wonderful architectural experience.
