Tokyo to Kyoto by Campervan 🚐🇯🇵

Last April, we went on a 10- days campervan adventure in Japan – from Tokyo all the way to Kyoto and back, covering about 1,500km. We rented the cutest little campervan from a Japanese company – it looked like a school bus and always caught attention wherever we stopped.

It was honestly the best time. We soaked in hot springs (onsen) to relax, made quick toilet stops at konbini (Japanese convenience stores – lifesavers!), and just enjoyed the freedom of the road. The campervan gave us the flexibility to explore at our own pace and wake up to different views every morning.

What made it even more special – we brought along our 2-year-old baby, Hayyan! 🚼💛 Traveling with him made the trip more memorable (and hilarious at times).
